Meadow Vale News

From here users may view and online version of the current newsletter as well as access an archive of the current and previous issues as PDF files (a PDF reader is required). Please scroll to the bottom of the page for the links to archived newsletters.

The intent of the newsletter is to provide information to the neighborhood about its local government as well as news about the larger community of Metro Louisville. Sometimes content from other publications is included when it catches the eye. We do not pretend to be a professional news organization and by no means is the City of Meadow Vale attempting to put forth any political agenda. We are simply attempting to create a local source of local information about the community. Therefore, any views expressed in the newsletter are those of the individuals who expressed them and not the views of or official position of the City of Meadow Vale.

MV Happy House

Your home will be happy and your city leadership too if you make sure that “City of Meadow Vale” is listed on your household insurance policy. By doing so you’ll be making sure that Meadow Vale receives it’s share of taxes derived from the policy. It costs you nothing extra and, at the same time, benefits the City since the additional funds are funneled to the City from the companies.

Newsletter Via Email and Web

Based on a very positive response from residents regarding the method of delivery of the newsletter, the City will move to a digital method of delivery. Beginning with the March issue, the newsletter will be available by email while continuing to be available from this website. Residents or homeowners can request delivery via US Mail by contacting the City Assistant Pat Teeter using your telephone at (502) 412-5500 or via email to

We will still deliver a print version to those who request a paper copy.
